Leak Detection System

In the event that the leak detection system is triggered, a high-pitched alarm will sound, the water supply will automatically shut off, and the system will require a manual reset. In some cases, there may be no audible alarm however, if the water supply has been cut off, a reset is still necessary. 

1. The console for the system can be found in the cupboard underneath the water tap, on the left side.
2. The console has two red buttons (picture below). Press the first button to reset the system.

3. It should only take a couple of seconds to reset. 

4. If the noise comes back, then press the second button to mute the sound and contact the Building Manager.

Resetting the leak detection system will disturb the water tap, so that will need resetting too.
